Top 5 Theme Parks Apps Performance in Mexico Q3 2022

The third quarter of 2022 showcased an interesting performance of the top 5 theme park apps in Mexico. Here’s a closer look at their trends in downloads, revenue, and active users according to Sensor Tower data.

Six Flags saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting from around 3.5K in late June and peaking at nearly 11.3K in the week of September 19. Active users mirrored this upward trajectory, climbing from 26.4K to a high of 38.8K by late September.

Disneyland® experienced consistent weekly revenue, with figures oscillating between $500 and $700. Downloads peaked mid-July at 5.4K but gradually declined to around 3K by the end of September. The app maintained a stable active user base, reaching a peak of 11.3K in mid-July before slightly decreasing to 10.3K.

My Disney Experience demonstrated strong revenue performance, with weekly earnings rising from $3.1K in late June to a peak of $7.7K in mid-September. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 2K and tapering off to 1.5K by the end of the quarter. Active users saw a modest increase in July, peaking at 3.2K before declining to 2.2K in late September.

Universal Studios Hollywood™ showed an increase in downloads from 1.2K in late June to 2K in mid-September. Active users also increased from 3.2K to a peak of 4.8K in mid-July, stabilizing around 3.8K by the end of the quarter.

Universal Orlando Resort had a steady performance with downloads peaking at 1.3K in mid-July before declining to 635 by the end of September. Active users saw a gradual increase from 2.1K in late June to a peak of 2.6K in mid-July, before settling at around 2K by the end of the quarter.
